Wenger: It's an accident to lose to Chelsea

This Tuesday, Arsenal will fight against Swansea City at home.As the media reported, Wenger cancel routine conference before the match, he chose to have speech through the official television. Frenchman stressed defeat to Chelsea, just a "accident", he called the team bounce back.

The ‘Wenger Out’ faction among Arsenal’s support – large, vocal but by no means a majority – are urging his sacking following the 6-0 humiliation at Chelsea which wrecked his landmark day and their club’s title hopes."Accident will happen, but that does not mean you are not a good driver. Many times this season we did well, what happened on Saturday was not the true level of our team." Wenger said in the battle of Stamford Bridge when recovery disk, Assen Carolina paid the price for the early backward, "We did not enter the state as soon as possible, the opponent's attack hurt us."

“I take full responsibility,” he said. “It is my fault that we failed completely because we did not turn up. It became a long, dramatic, dreadful afternoon. This is puzzling because we were shocked and knocked down basically without feeling you have had a chance. The team is healthy and willing – we have to think deeply because it is not the first time.”

“We lost some balls when we tried to keep it desperately and they then caught us on the counter-attack,” said Mertesacker. “There was not much difference before the red card. I don’t know why, but it looks like we don’t fancy early kick-offs away. It looks like we are going to have to apply to the FA to not play at 12.45pm away. That would help us a lot.”
